A little about me.

Developer mindset. Data engineering focus.

I’m a Data Engineer and Software Developer with more than four years of experience at SPAN Technology Services. I started as a Junior .NET Developer in February 2022 and moved into data engineering in August 2023.

My work spans data ingestion, streaming, lakehouse and warehouse technologies, backend APIs, payment integrations, and modernizing existing applications. I enjoy connecting the pieces — from the database and data pipeline to the service and user interface.

I’m especially interested in reliable systems, open-source tools, and practical architecture: understanding a problem, choosing the right technology, and making it work well in a real product.

  • Develop and maintain data engineering workflows — ingestion, transformation, batch processing, and streaming-oriented integrations.
  • Contribute to data platform and warehouse initiatives: data modelling, source-to-target mapping, and evaluating open-source tools for implementation.
  • Work with Apache Kafka, Apache Hudi, Apache Doris, Trino/Presto, and DataHub depending on project requirements.
  • Build and maintain backend services and REST APIs using Python and FastAPI, connecting data services to application layers.
  • Maintain payment integrations using Stripe and Cybersource, and support reusable internal tools.
